Yuqiu “Rachel” Guo is an Associate at Southworth PC. Her work focuses on representing former and current federal employees before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board, and the Office of Federal Operations. She prosecutes discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblowing cases. She also defends federal careers.
Ms. Guo always has a passion to advocate for the less fortunate. She takes great pride in using her knowledge to stand up for others and shield them from pain and suffering.
Ms. Guo is a graduate of Emory University School of Law where she served as Managing Editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. During law school, Ms. Guo externed for the Honorable Judge Baisier at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia where she received extensive training in legal research and writing.
Ms. Guo graduated magna cum laude from Agnes Scott College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Political Science. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
When she is not diligently representing clients, Ms. Guo enjoys yoga, music, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
