Biography

Sadarie Hines Mahens is an Associate at Southworth PC, where her practice focuses on Federal Employment Law, a field in which she represents clients before pivotal institutions such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board, and Federal Court. Her international background, hailing from the United Kingdom with a vibrant legal career that spans across both the UK and the United States, equips her with a distinct perspective and creative approach to law. Sadarie is a New York licensed attorney, renowned for her eloquence, strategic thinking, and drive to help ensure professional legal outcomes for her clients.

Sadarie embarked on her legal journey inspired by a childhood vision, nurtured by her late father through a simple yet impactful gift—a book portraying a young girl as a lawyer. This image resonated with her, guiding her towards a fulfilling career in law, where she has been able to leverage her voice for those who cannot. Graduating with honors in Law with Social Sciences, and further enriching her knowledge with a postgraduate research diploma in Women and the Law from the London Metropolitan University School of Law, Sadarie has always been driven by a passion for public law and service.

Before joining Southworth PC, Sadarie's career was marked by significant roles, including serving as an In-house locum lawyer for UK Local Authorities and working under a Georgia Special Assistant Attorney General. She has also dedicated herself to pro bono work, notably assisting underserved communities with housing and landlord issues through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.

Sadarie values the "one team" ethic at Southworth PC, crediting it with her professional growth, especially through opportunities to draft briefs for complex cases requiring innovative solutions.
