LaShanda Thompson is an experienced federal-employment attorney with more than a decade of experience advising on, investigating, and resolving complex workplace matters within the federal government. She brings deep insight into agency operations and a strong commitment to protecting employee rights.

Before joining Southworth PC, LaShanda served at the National Institutes of Health, where she handled high-profile EEO complaints, reasonable-accommodation matters, MSPB cases, and performance and disciplinary issues. Her work advising senior leaders and overseeing internal investigations gives her a clear understanding of how agencies assess, manage, and defend employment cases—knowledge she now uses to anticipate agency strategy and build strong, evidence-based cases for her clients.
