Biography
As Director of Intake and Client Experience at Southworth PC, Shanna Goodwin leads the firm’s client-intake operations and oversees every step of the client journey from initial contact through onboarding and early case development. She ensures that all potential and current clients receive prompt, professional, and high-touch support that reflects the firm’s client-first values and commitment to excellence.
Ms. Goodwin manages the firm’s Intake Department and develops firm-wide protocols that streamline workflows, improve conversion rates, and promote consistency across all client interactions. She also monitors the progress of new matters during the critical first 100 days to ensure each case meets Southworth PC’s standards for communication, timeliness, and client care.
Before assuming her current role, Ms. Goodwin served as Managing Paralegal, where she coordinated complex federal-employment matters, managed attorney and paralegal teams, and implemented systems to support quality, compliance, and successful outcomes.
Although she does not provide legal advice, Ms. Goodwin possesses extensive knowledge of the laws and processes governing federal-employee rights. Her experience includes matters before the Merit Systems Protection Board and claims arising under the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act, Title VII, the ADEA, the Rehabilitation Act, the FLSA, the FMLA, and other statutes protecting federal workers.
Dedicated to both operational excellence and client care, Ms. Goodwin works to ensure that every federal employee represented by Southworth PC receives not only expert legal advocacy but also a seamless, transparent, and supportive experience from intake through resolution.
