Law Student Intern
Our internships offer the chance to work with experienced trial attorneys and assist clients facing significant challenges. Interns will engage in research, trial preparation, and various legal tasks. Internships offer the opportunity to work with our career trial attorneys and assist clients who are facing the biggest problems in their lives. Outstanding law students and undergraduate students on the pre-law track come to Southworth PC for the opportunity to train with our attorneys. Interns perform a variety of tasks ranging from research to assisting with trial prep. We offer paid positions throughout the year. Interns typically work around 20 hours a week during the spring and fall semesters and up to 30 hours a week during the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with legal research and case preparation.
- Support attorneys in trial and client communications.
- Participate in various aspects of legal practice and office administration.
- Draft legal documents and conduct case investigations.
- Prepare trial materials and assist in courtroom procedures.
Requirements:
- Law students or pre-law undergraduate students.
- Strong academic record and commitment to learning.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
