Biography

Kyle F. Bosket is a Federal Employment Attorney at Southworth PC, where he represents current and former federal employees in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, disability discrimination, reasonable accommodation, whistleblower reprisal, security clearance determinations, adverse actions, and appeals before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Defense Hearings and Appeals (DOHA), and other federal administrative tribunals. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kyle developed a strong appreciation for public service, hard work, and advocating for others, values that continue to guide his legal practice today. He is passionate about protecting the careers and livelihoods of public servants who have dedicated their lives to serving their country and ensuring they receive the fairness and due process guaranteed by federal law.

Kyle brings a rare combination of legal advocacy and management-level federal human resources experience to every case. Before entering private practice, he held leadership positions with the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the City of Philadelphia Fire Department. Throughout his public service, he advised agency executives on some of the government's most complex employee relations, labor relations, performance management, workplace investigations, reasonable accommodation, suitability, and security matters.

That experience gives Kyle a unique perspective when representing federal employees. Having helped agencies navigate difficult personnel decisions, negotiated labor contracts and disputes, drafted agency policy, conducted workplace investigations, and advised senior leadership on federal employment law, he understands how agencies evaluate cases, make decisions, and defend litigation. Today, he leverages that insight to develop strategic, evidence-driven advocacy designed to protect his clients' careers and achieve meaningful results.

Clients appreciate Kyle's thoughtful, analytical approach and his commitment to understanding the full story behind every case. He believes successful advocacy begins by listening carefully, developing a comprehensive litigation strategy, and ensuring clients understand both the strengths and challenges of their case. His goal is not only to achieve favorable legal outcomes but also to provide clients with confidence and clarity throughout the legal process.

Kyle earned his Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson Law ("We Are") and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland ("Go Terps"). He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and has completed advanced training in Equal Employment Opportunity investigations, workplace investigations, suitability determinations, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Outside the office, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family. He is the proud father of one daughter, Abria, and three sons, Kyle, Karter, and Kristian. Whether attending a football game, basketball tournament, softball game, or another sporting event, he enjoys supporting his children in their athletic pursuits and creating lasting memories with them. A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Kyle proudly cheers for the Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers. He also enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through regular fitness training at the gym.
